CROCHET PROJECT
*This pattern is one piece, a rectangular that we fold
in half when finished.
*We sew the sides to form the armholes
* we crochet an edging along the bottom and top sides
* we crochet edging along the armholes

The foundation chain for this pattern should be a
multiple of 7 plus 3 chains.

untill desired length, I worked 20,(28,30,32,38,42,42,46,48,48) rows.
Fasten of weave in ends
Sewing
Fold the piece
in half so that the length is folded and sew the sides as in my sketch.
Shrug after
folding is 15,75 inches( 40 cm) wide.
Sew half of this height 7,87 inches ( 20cm) from
bottom up so that you leave unsewn an opening of 7,87 inches ( 20 cm) for
armhole opening in each side.
EDGING
We work the
edging (after sides are sewn) across the 2 edges of shrug.
Special st, cluster=in indicated st, 2dc , ch2, 2dc
Attach yarn at
one of the side seams , right side of shrug facing you.
We work first a
dc row
Row 1: ch 3, dc in each st to the end, join with a sl st in top of ch3,
turn
Row 2: ch 5,*skip 2 sts, cluster in next st, ch2, skip 2 sts, sc in next st *
rep from * to * to the end of row, ch2 , join with a sl st in 3rd ch
of initial ch5
Row 3: ch 5,*work cluster in ch2 space
of cluster of prev row, ch3, sc in sc of
prev row,ch3 * rep from * to * to the end of row, ch3 , join with a sl st in 3rd
ch of initial ch5
Fasten off weave in ends.
