 EDGING

Attach yarn in a corner, in dc of the last row and work across the narrow side of blanket , in the right side of the blaket.

We will work one row of sc and one row of dc first in light grey

Row 1 (light grey): ch1, 3sc in same first st,first corner made, sc in next 59 sts,
3 sc in last dc of prev row, second  corner made , now we are going to crochet down the side of our blanket, turn your work so the side is facing up, we will sc in each side edge space.skipping 1 st every 3 or 4 sts. Work 83 sc until you reach at the next corner , work 3 sc in the corner, ( in the top of last dc of prev row), third corner made
turn now so you are working in the narrow side again, sc in next 59 sts, 3sc in last dc of prev row, fourth corner made
And finally start crocheting down the last  side of our blanket, work 83 sc , join with a sl st in first sc of the row, do not turn, you keep working on the right side of the blanket

Row 2 (light grey): sl st in first st, sl in second st  ( it is the middle sc of prev row) ch3, 2 dc in same st, first corner made ,
skip next sc, dc in next 58 sts, skip next st, 3 dc in next st(it is the middle sc of prev row),second corner made
, skip next sc, dc in next 83 sts, skip next sc, 3 dc in next st, third corner made
Skip next sc, dc in next 58 sts, skip next st, 3 dc in next st, fourth corner made, skip next st, join with a sl st in top of ch3
Fasten off weave in ends
We will work the flower edging in pink or in your preference color.
Note: Working this last edging row,  it is not possible to always skip 5 sts between flowers. Reaching at the corner, check and you may skip less than 5 sts , in the last 2 spaces between flowers, the important thing is to work a flower exactly in the middle dc of the corner, in all 4 corners of the blanket.

Row 3:attach pink yarn in a corner, ch5, sc in same st, ch4, sc in same st, ch4, sc in same st( 3 petal flower worked, ) , ch 4, skip next 5 sts, in 6th st work: * sc, ch4, sc, ch4, sc ch4, sc ( 3 petal flower worked, you should have 4 sc and 3 times of ch4 made all in one st), ch4, skip 5 sts*, rep from * to *  all around the blanket, you should work a flower in every corner,  end by chaining 4 and join with a sl st in 2nd ch of beg ch5.

Fasten off, weave in ends.

Note: In the blanket I made 4 flowers, one at each corner of the blanket, 10 flowers at each of  the narrow sides, 14 flowers at each of  the long sides.
