CROCHET PROJECT
-This pattern starts with a small circle that we
create chaining 9 chains and joining as usual with a sl st.
-In first row we work one corner, this is the tip of
the triangle (no side clusters in this row, just ch5 at the beginning and ch2,
dc in last st at the end).
-We work in rows and we turn our work after each row.
-In every row we always work a corner at the corner, I
mean we work a corner in the ch2 space of the corner of previous row.
-We always start a new row with a ch 5 and we always
end up working ch2 and a dc (which is equal to the ch5 of the beginning).
-In every row
we create in total 2 clusters more than
in previous row( one cluster at each side), this way the shawl is getting
bigger and bigger .
For example in
row1: we have
no side clusters,
in row 2: we
have 1 cluster at each side,
in row 3 :we
have 2 clusters at each side,
in row 4 :we
have 3 clusters at each side
in row 5 :we have 4 clusters at each side…

FRINGE
For the fringe you will be cutting pieces that are
8,66 inches(22cm) in length.
Take a book or a cardboard which is half this length long.
When adding the fringe I added them along the two
sides of the shawl towards the tip.
Starting with your yarn at the top, begin winding the yarn around the bookwrap, wind it several times, but not so many times that you won't be able to cut through all of it with a pair of scissors. End with the yarn at the top of the book.
Remove the yarn from the cardboard and cut the yarn.
Now you have several pieces of yarn, all the same length.
Decide how many pieces of yarn you want to use together, you may use 2-3 for a chunky yarn and 4-5 for a worsted weight yarn.
Fold your pieces evenly.
Take the two pieces of yarn folded in half, hook them
with your fingers and pull them through the loop.
Take the ends of the two pieces of yarn and push them
through the loop made by folding the two pieces in half.
Pull on the free ends to draw them down snugly, but
not too tightly. Pull on both ends evenly.
Continue in this way until you've added as much fringe to your project as you like. Trim the ends to even them up, if you want to.
Tadaaaa....... End of tutorial!
I hope you crochet this shawl and leave me a comment to tell me alla about it!
